O St. Charles, you are invoked as
the patron of all those who suffer
with stomach ailments and obesity.
You are also called upon as a helper
for all those attempting to diet and lose weight.
Please intercede for me today
and help me to control
my desires and compulsions,
so that I may fix my appetite
on the glory of heaven.

Do not hate yourself. That is wrong. You have to love yourself to heal yourself. Imagine taking care of a patient, yet despising them. That’s not care. You have to care for yourself. We all need help. Every person commenting. Love yourself.

If anyone here wants to have a virtual meet or check in, I’m game. I am trying to get back into religion as well. I struggle with faith, but I’m trying to make my way back. And I want to raise my son as a Catholic. I guess I’m just struggling with everything. Chronic pain…which led to weight gain.
