Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
a world without end.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
a world without end.
Amen.
When I was young, oh so many years ago (in fact it was decades ago), the nuns taught us there was only a single prayer that glorified God and did nothing more than giving God praise. They said that all the others, which while maybe praising God, also asked God for something. This one was the sole one to give God praise without asking him for something. It and the Hail Mary were my favorites. Now that I have come back to the Church, I find them to still be the best prayers as I see them.
