I turn to you with an earnest request for prayers during these very difficult moments of my life. I also ask especially for health and protection for my family, who might otherwise be left without my support. In my daily prayers, I promise to mend my ways and strive to avoid my sins in the future. Yet I also ask for relief from the suffering, fear, and tears of my loved ones. who witness my solitary battle, so that I may return to a normal life and to work.
